After a complimentary skin analysis, a personalized skin care regimen will be suggested. Services available include microdermabrasion, chemical peels, enzyme peels, and waxing in La Jolla. Drs. Umansky also administer a range of facial injectables and dermal fillers.

Kris earned her diploma in Australia from the Confederation of International Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology. She is also a licensed aesthetician through the California State Board of Cosmetology.

A Note About Facials, Waxing and Peels
Anyone using retinol, Retin-A®, Renova®, Differin®, Tazorac®, Accutane®, or Avage® will be too sensitive for some peels and all waxing. Please inform your aesthetician if you are pregnant and/or lactating, or if you are using any of these products.

Microdermabrasion in San Diego

This exfoliation treatment uses aluminum oxide crystals to gently remove surface cells and stimulate collagen production. Results can be enhanced by coupling microdermabrasion with custom facials and peels. Please ask your La Jolla microdermabrasion specialist for appropriate treatments for your skin type.

Ultra Peel I® & II®

Ultra Peel I® & II® is appropriate for all skin types, conditions and sensitivities. It will effectively treat acne, pigment disorders, aging skin, smoker’s skin and sun damaged skin. These treatments are ideal for sensitive skin types, including rosacea. It is likely to cause some delayed flaking of the skin, two to four days post-treatment.

Firming and Rejuvenating Treatments

These treatments leave the skin looking healthier; firm, hydrated and refreshed. These treatments are ideal for skins that need pampering due to travel or stress or if you would like a radiant glow for a special occasion.

Oxygenating Treatments

Oxygenating Treatments are an excellent treatment for sluggish tired skin due to environmental damage, smoking, medications, aging and improper diet. Great for congested or acneic skin conditions too. This is a very stimulating facial so you may experience temporary redness post treatment.

Detox Deep Pore Treatments

Detox Deep Pore Treatments are great a skin in need of detoxification. It is appropriate for all Fitzpatrick skin types. The special blend of L-lactic, salicylic and glycolic acids removes impactions from the skin making this a wonderful treatment for improving skin texture and clarity, while keeping the skin moist and hydrated. This is a stimulating facial, so San Diego facial peel patients may experience a mild tingle and temporary redness.

Sensi Peel®

Sensi Peel® is appropriate for all skin types, conditions and sensitivities. It will effectively treat acne, hyper pigmentation, smoker’s skin and aging skin. It is appropriate for all Fitzpatrick skin types. The skin is left looking lighter, brighter and feeling calm and hydrated. Great coupled with a Microdermabrasion treatment; flaking may occur post treatment.

Clarifying Mask

Clarifying Mask treatments are appropriate for all clients with dull, impacted or breakout prone skin. The salicylic acid clears follicles of excess oil and debris leaving the skin smooth and glowing. Ideal for acne, rosecea, psoriasis, eczema and sensitive skins.

Pumpkin Peel

Pumpkin Peel is a powerful antioxidant treatment containing salicylic acid that is beneficial for thick sun damaged, resilient skin with acne and clogged pores. This treatment will draw out impurities and refine the texture of the skin. This is a stimulating facial so you may experience a mild sting & temporary redness.
